@jjimasek it's a fact, I experience it myself because contact with all my rebions and grandchildren is now only online. Always together on Christmas, and now only with the more beautiful half ;) .
But why in the morning on the old, as far as the Mercedes is thin?
@_cheetah_ maybe and yes, tomorrow I will pick up a Play card and see. Nevertheless, it was d..py all day

Well, at the moment the control and preview of P2P cameras is behaving fabulously :D :D
I wonder what will be in a few hours.
Even the raccoon came to visit me :D :D

    best regards

The fairy tale lasted only at night :( , he sneezes again since morning. Virtually no control and preview.

@_cheetah_ then how to explain that it works reasonably well on the old TP-Link   .
I do not know, maybe something in this B 818 can be moved manually, but I have no idea where, what and how.
After logging into the router, it shows 4 dashes and 4G

How do you work with this B818 when selecting bands - automaton or do you force some single band / aggregation?

I don't even know where to look for it :( and how to set.

Do you have this router? If so, at the beginning you do tests of single bands LTE2600, LTE2100, LTE1800 and LTE800. You force bands in the application on Android http://www.mediafire.com/folder/95m83y3qalgbv/B525s_-_23a or on Windows https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1K1-S4ygFsS9GNdXmcEy4dQ9smsP8ksL4 and show speedtests from them test with b818 outside the window. These are the primary diagnostic tools for Huawei HiLink. Let my colleague, the author of the topic, use them, and check Play on LTE2100, lte1800, LTE800 and Plus on LTE180, lte900.

    Hello
At the beginning of a healthy and happy Easter :)
@ matek451 as soon as there is a chance to arrive tomorrow, I will try to do the tests. B818 outside?
Thanks for the links with the tools :D

They arranged a bit chaotically but I guess it doesn't really matter.
If I have a selected frequency or selected aggregation 800-1800-2100, does this setting stay?
Speedtest on aggregation practically all the time down 50 up 5

The router is placed on the roof of the Dutchwoman, then inside and the results are similar.
The external antenna should help now the question of what?
One more thing, despite these parameters, control and view of the shadow.

Connection with BTS in Pełczyce. Perform speedtest on each forced band.
As for LTEWatch drops, signal at 800 weak enough at 1800 and slightly worse at 2100.

When it comes to HManager, there is also no chronology, although the last speedtest is much better, but the tests were unfortunately done in the morning ...
In the aggregation of 800 + 1800 + 2100, the signal is sufficient, at 1800 - weak, and similarly at 2100.

At the moment, you need to buy an antenna for the 1800-2100 MHz band.

I bet on LTE-A, check on which band the internet works best, set it permanently and test it.

@ Range1, @ jarek7714 thanks for the hints but I still do not know exactly what model of the antenna :( purchase. Opinions about antennas are so different, some praise others write that shit. It is also different with sellers, and what some people write nonsense that would only squeeze the goods.

Somewhere here, I saw info from @ mothers451, he recommended this antenna to someone:

    https://telkob.pl/pl/p/2x-ATK-504-z-kablem-10-metrow-Pasmo-698-2690-MHz.-cena-312-zl./227

Unfortunately, it is not currently available, I will call you tomorrow and ask.

Only she has been purely virtual in DIPOL for a long time, the oldest Krakusi do not remember when she was available, Dipol has been promoting others for a long time. They visit Telkobie ATK-504 much more often. The parameters outside are good enough at 1800 / 2100MHz that I would try ATK-502, but UL is the key here, so on the other hand it is better to make the gain higher. UL does not aggregate, so LTE-A does not have any impact on these problems, in theory UL is the highest on LTE1800, up to 37Mb / s, so this band should work best and in aggregation, even without an antenna, it is basic, so everything is fine. By the way, I think that an antenna for 1800 / 2100MHz would not be enough and an improvement of the signal on LTE1800 / LTE2100 because LTE900 itself looks very good outside without an antenna.

@_cheetah_ I do not really understand, that is what is written here is sucked from the finger:

    http://62.129.227.227/inkontrahent.php?t=1204&g=331&q=&r=0&rg=0&sg=

Because the profit is greater than the one you gave.

@ matek451 or what not to wait just try on 502?

Here it is available from DIPOL

I do not know, the difference is about 3dBi between them, you are fighting for a better UL and the signal level at 1800 / 2100MHz counts, hence my proposal for an antenna for 1800-2100MHz, and like Telkob, there are also their ATP-15 / ATP-16 broadband panels

Okay, I'm looking for something for these two bands 1800/2100, unless you have some proven ones with good profit, I will ask for some hints.

    They're here from Dipol

What will you say about it

The ones from DIPOL are weaker than the ATK-502, these cannons are circularly polarized electro-waste. I don't know the YAGI, but it's a Chinese antenna, it probably works somehow, I used the Sorensen 800 / 1800-2100MHz panel myself, but it didn't knock me down, but inside it had two sets of radiators, one for 800-900MHz and the other for 1800-2100MHz. I do not know how it is with this YAGI, but since it works in 3 ranges, it should have 3 sets of MIMO2X2 radiators.

Thanks very much for the hints, I will buy this ATK 502 because Telkob on Allegro has a free return if something goes wrong, I will return it.
I will let you know after connecting :D what results.

Be sure to let them know what the results are, not many people come back boasting about their speeds or parameters ;)

There is no madness with camera control, there is an improvement, but it is far from what I would expect.
Why does it work smoother on this old router from TP-Link, despite lower transfer rates?
And now I do speed tests they are worse and the cameras can be controlled better :( > What kaman? The results are worse and it runs smoother. I got lost

Basically yes, with everyone. I checked the bands different. And d..pa. Now at this time, despite the fact that from the tests I am doing, the control works OK. What K..wa kaman. I am not a hazel grouse taken from somewhere and now I am starting to give up because I already lack ideas :(

Now I do not have to take a screenshot (the other half took me from the site :( :( ) but after logging into the router it showed that two external antennas are connected. :( . Three cameras are connected, two for WiFi and one for WiFi and LAN
There is only a cable and connected cables, then an adapter to the router.
When I unplugged the antenna it was immediately worse.

now at this time) (22:21) from home it was great on the computer and on the smart.
Each touch of the up-down, left-right zoom is visible immediately.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around selecting the best external LTE antenna for the Huawei B818 router, particularly for users experiencing poor internet coverage in rural areas. Participants emphasize the importance of knowing the specific LTE bands used by local operators and recommend conducting tests to determine the best performing bands. Various antennas are suggested, including the ATK-502 and KYZ models, which are noted for their performance in the 1800-2100 MHz range. Users share their experiences with different routers, highlighting the B818's capabilities and limitations, particularly in terms of signal diagnostics and band aggregation. The conversation also touches on the impact of network congestion on performance and the necessity of external antennas to improve signal strength.
