    Welcome.

IFTTT has recently become a paid service. Does anyone perhaps use an alternative that supports IFTTT compatible devices?
My WI-FI devices are compatible with the IEEE 802.11b/g/n protocol, well I am now looking for a free application to replace IFTTT.
    Thank you for your help.
    Regards.

Broad topic. Depends on many factors. Write in more detail what you used IFTTT for.
I gave up on IFTTT and use node red Nora for voice commands for my phone and Google Home.
Do you have a public IP and some sort of home IoT server?

Thank you for your interest in my topic.
It is about roller shutter management, status sensors – reed switches, presence detectors, remote control etc. etc.
    Regards.
    Tony.

Hello, I have a lot of equipment at home pooled via IFTTT, somehow I have not had a problem, and I have not encountered the service being a paid service so far. Can a colleague elaborate on the subject ????

    On the French blog:

    https://www.domo-blog.fr/ifttt-utilisateurs-p...heriques-ewelink-doivent-payer-service-cloud/.

It says that all applications from eWeLink and among other Sonoff devices.

À on the eWeLink website the IFTTT compatibility link has disappeared.

Other sites say that the first 750 poloczen per month will be free and the rest are $9.90 per month, etc. etc.
Since the manufacturers refused to pay a subscription to IFTTT then IFTTT decided that they would pay users directly to use their service in the cloud.

Well they have gone hard... The fact that I use IFTTT mainly for SONOFFs, but so far I haven't noticed that anything has stopped working, and I have a dozen of them hooked up. Well, we'll see because so far nowhere yet, apart from this topic and the blog pointed out by a colleague, has anything been written about it anywhere.

So one has to look for a free alternative....

I think that by now the news is known by everyone. IFTTT is free but only for one or two orders.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around finding free alternatives to IFTTT for managing IEEE 802.11b/g/n compatible devices, particularly for applications like roller shutter management and sensor integration. Users express concerns about IFTTT transitioning to a paid model, with some reporting that their existing setups, especially with SONOFF devices, continue to function without issues. Alternatives such as Node-RED are suggested for voice command integration. The conversation highlights the need for solutions that maintain compatibility with existing IoT devices while addressing the limitations of the new IFTTT pricing structure.
