It looks the same for me, but it doesn't save. Immediately after the scan, the scanned page flashes for a fraction of a second in the upper left corner and that's it ... I have Windows 7, maybe that's why? I do not know what to do...

It is possible that via win7 .... You can try to set the applications to the mode of compatibility with windows7, otherwise you have to look for other replacements for HP, e.g. NAPS2 etc.

I was also surprised, I have an HP 4370 scanner, in the software I found and launched c: \ Program Files (x86) \ HP \ Digital Imaging \ bin \ hpiscnapp.exe. The window opened as usual, I scanned it, saved it to pdf and ok.

For me, the same file also works and scans.
I am working on Windows 7 64bit, HP Scanjet 3800 scanner.
Overall, HP products are one garbage can. When I had a printer with a scanner, it mixed the printer heads before each scan.

Hello, probably everyone knows Adobe has stopped supporting and disappears ... Only the problem is that I have an Hp Officejet J4580 printer. And I needed to scan a few documents today and it is unfortunately impossible because the HP Service Center, where I always went through this application to select the scan in which file, etc., does not work by Adobe ... What to do in such a situation? How to get around so that everything works again. Thank you in advance for your help. :)

If you really care about printing and scanning with this equipment, I recommend that you download Ubuntu and boot your computer from a disc or USB. I also have an HP printer and Windows drivers have always been terribly problematic, while linux found the driver itself, you just had to confirm the installation and it worked.

    I have a Win10, 32 bit, Hp Scanjet 3800 scanner.
I tried NAPS2 and HP Scan Extended, also HPiscnapp.exe from the bin directory.
However, all this did not provide the same possibilities as the original program.
So, in another computer, where by some coincidence there was no Flash Player cutout, I found the C: \ Windows \ System32 \ Macromed directory.
I copied the Flash directory and replaced it on my laptop. Everything started and works the old way. I hope it won't be cut anymore.

Any ideas on how to check the ink levels and enable head alignment?

Whats up. Yes, I was just messing around with it today. Download and use the "HP Print and Scan Doctor" application.

    Best regards.

    Hello.
Maybe a silly solution, but try to set the date in the system to 2020. Flash applications should start

Hello. I have an HP Deskjet f2200 printer and I can't scan because Adobe Flash has been discontinued, and HP Smart is not helping and connecting via a USB cable?

Indeed disabling the flash plug made it unusable HP Solution Center (HP Solution Center).

Earlier solutions with finding applications (files with the .exe extension) is a good solution.
I, on the other hand, have a multifunctional device HP Photosmart Ink Adv K510a and fortunately it works with the new app HP smart , although I preferred the older Service Center.

However, in my opinion, there is one more solution for devices with WiFi network support, and maybe others.
After checking the ip address in the device settings and entering it into the web browser, my device starts the Embedded Web Server and thanks to it I can use the device and all its functions from any computer in the home network. I am attaching the screen.
Try if your devices do not have such a solution.

Something like this works for me. I connect the USB printer to the computer. I press the physical button on the printer "Scan Menu" later in the printer display I select "PIC to FILE" and it is displayed on the computer screen

    Hello,

My printer, or in fact an HP multifunction device, is 11 years old, but it's still working perfectly.
She has never let me down until this day.

This is the HP Deskjet Ink Advantage k209 az model.
I don't need the HP Solution Center so badly.
I cannot scan and copy according to my settings.

    HP Smart doesn't help.

    What to do?

I propose to download the HP Scan and Capture application from the Microsoft Store. It helped me. You can scan documents and save in pdf. It's a bit different than the HP Service Center, but you get used to it. If anyone has Windows 10

Anyone know how to enter print settings? So to set the printing parameters once (speed, format, color) once and for all, and not for each document?

For now, I am removing the flash disabling update and everything works as usual. The whole thing, frankly speaking, upset me. HP does not think about developing a new printer maintenance program, they think everyone will rush out to the stores to buy new printers. But printers are still nothing, because what are those who have to use expensive flash-based software to do. Buy an expensive new version?

I don't know if I was lucky but I needed to install a new printer yesterday (HP DestJet 5075) on my old laptop with win 8.1, downloaded the drivers (hp-designjet-5000-driver-ks_v2.152.382.08.6) and everything worked. It showed me two shortcuts to the scanner and printer assistant.

Hello, odwierze a little, today I went to the scanner and I did not know before about the lack of adobe, I buried a little and without installing the flash player, I can normally use the scanner even wirelessly.
    The HP Deskjet F4580 device
Path to the scanner file: Drive: \ Program Files (x86) \ HP \ Digital Imaging \ bin \ hpiscnapp.exe
    I hope I helped ;)

The easiest and best solution is to install NAPS2. There, at least, is the ability to create meaningful scan profiles. And it doesn't need any Adobe to run properly.

    Hello ,

I use the HP Scan Extended program as a replacement in the file attachment. And for the photocopying, supposedly a good Icopy program.

Thanks for the hint. It works, I can scan!

Anyone can scan, just take a shortcut; it's about the rest of the features - the toolbox and print settings.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the inability to use the HP Support Center for scanning documents due to the discontinuation of Adobe Flash Player support. Users with various HP printers, including the HP Officejet J4580 and HP Deskjet models, express frustration over the loss of functionality. Several solutions are proposed, including locating executable files (e.g., scan.exe) within the HP software installation folder, using alternative applications like HP Scan Extended, NAPS2, and Windows Scanning app, and accessing the printer's Embedded Web Server for management. Some users report success in scanning documents using these alternatives, while others continue to face issues with limited functionality or compatibility with older operating systems. The conversation highlights the need for HP to develop a new management program in light of the Flash Player discontinuation.
