Smartplug with Network Watchdog for Monitoring and Restarting Routers

We have a lot of smart sockets, so-called smart plugs, in the shops. I see that most have switching based on a schedule, sometimes based on receiving power. I would find it useful to have one with a network watchdog, i.e. pinging some address and restarting the receiver if it hangs up. There are such devices on the American market, as below.
