Firstly I wanted to say hello to everyone and take some advice. I have an outlet with WiFi called Power Plug NAS-WR01W. As I was changing its location I had to change the network I was using so far. I've done this many times before so I thought this time it would also go without a problem. As usual, I pressed the button to reset the device. After the reset, I launched the Smart Life app. The socket reset itself and started flashing. On the app I clicked to add a WiFi socket. The app detected the socket and the devices started to pair. As usual the socket switched off where on the app I saw a restart message. This lasted a few minutes but the socket did not restart again. The app did not add it to the list of devices. I tried to reset the socket, but despite numerous attempts, it did not start up again. No, no sound from the socket that it is trying to start up, and no LED was lit. The socket is currently not supplying voltage. Has anyone encountered a similar situation, is there any fault that can be rectified, or is the socket simply dead and fit to be thrown away. I am hoping for some advice on whether there is anything else that can be done about it, or whether a new unit should be purchased.

Try pairing at a previous location where the socket worked, so that any Wi-Fi issues are eliminated.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I wrote the socket does not start at all. The LED does not light up.

It's a waste of time to do further diagnostics or repairs, with these sockets priced like this.

That's what I thought too, it's probably a shame to mess about with repairs. Regards

If you want to dispose of them then you can take them apart, take photos and put them in the 'Appliance Interiors' section.
