Is it possible to "watchdod" device itself?
My problem is a bit slow router to boot. If meins electricity is lost for a while and it comes on again, OpenBeken devices boot much faster and router after them.
Result isthat devices connect to the router, but they have only direct IP address without name. Then all scripts using device name will fail.
I thought this can be avoided by setting device watchdog to ping itself by the name and making it to reboot if pinging fails. This way the device would boot in both cases, if WiFi connection and IP address is missing or if router does not get device name.
But this does not work. Watchdog seems to require direct IP address. It does not work using device name.
Is it possible to change this or is there any other way to do it?
