    Greetings to the Honourable Members,

I have a device which at the moment is operated by a 3 position switch with a key.
I would like to add a wireless control and if possible leave the key as well.

I have searched for controllers and found several but they do not meet the conditions, I would like the controller to be installed in a motor box outside (it is not raining but it is only a metal casing so it looks to me more like a device to be installed inside the house), the operating temperature -25C to 50C, an external antenna would be a bonus because the metal casing will be very blocking the signal

But my basic question is it possible ?
I think I could simply separate the white and green wires and connect them to the control unit, I understand that there could be a problem if someone uses the key and remote control?

I was thinking of something like this

    finally ( no wifi )

    Thank you

Shelly 2.5 alone, not so much due to the fact that there are no motorless contacts. Additional relays would have to be added and wired in such a way that both contacts could not be switched on at the same time.

You can find (on Allegro ....też) a 2-channel remote control in which the relays have changeover contacts (Com-Nc-No or ... A-B-C). Rebuilding the control of your motor:

When attaching a remote control to White, Green (using only Com-NO contacts) there should not be a problem either - at worst the same "phase" will appear on both capacitor leads - the motor will "buzz" and heat up, but rather with a short term drive of this type - it will not burn up.
