Hi - I've been browsing through the roller shutter topics and I'm a bit confused so I'm starting a new thread.
The matter is as follows - I have 5 windows on which I would like to install roller blinds - the windows have different heights - I am before the plastering so I would like to lay the installation - I would like to be able to close and open the blinds individually as well as all at once using a separate switch. As far as I know, when installing roller shutters there is a 4x1 cable connected to the motor which goes to the up/down switches - but I don't know how to pull the power - is it 1 cable in parallel to each roller shutter or 5 separate cables to each roller shutter? If there are 5 separate cables, does each one have to have its own circuit breaker? Or are these cables connected somewhere by a relay or something? and is it at all possible to have group locking of roller shutters at different heights of windows?
    Best regards

Since you have no idea what you are going to use, I suggest that you lay 4x1.5mm2 from each roller shutter to the distribution board, and 4x1.5 from each switch which is to operate the roller shutters to the distribution board. With such an installation you can do whatever you want and secure it however you want.
Each roller shutter should have limit switches which are set during installation, so the fact that they will be in different positions does not mean that all motors will be powered at the same time for the same length of time and they will go on powering, only when the roller shutter reaches its limit position it will disconnect the motor.
