During the last months, I ran into problems when flashing some CB2S Modules. When selecting BK7231N, the Module would flash just fine, but when power cycling it, it would not boot and the AP would not come up.

On some other post, I read that there were reported CB2S Modules containing BK7231T, so I tried flashing BK7231T but ran into a Checksum Error.

So next, I took out the Hotair and desoldered the shield to reveal that the Module is using a BK7231M which (I guess) is currently not supported by openbeken.

I thought I should post this to avoid others having a headache with this module. As far as I can see, all the Modules had a QR Code Sticker with a date stamp "2023-06-15" and I found those modules in various Power Sockets.

See my attached pictures. If the developers are interested in the modules, PM me, and I would ship them to you.

    Regards,

    Roque

I haven't seen BK7231M. What does the boot log say? I can PM you my shipping address and do some more testing.

Thanks to the reader who send me BK7231M, I've been able to solve the flashing issue. This BK7231M requires a binary built with different encryption keys. Here is final solution:
