    Hello,
Can any esteemed colleague help to connect this Sonoff ZBMINI L2 switch to a staircase - cross - staircase circuit in an old installation? Schneider SEDNA bistable switches.
    Greetings

According to the instructions, one or both end wires of the switch unit must be connected to the Sonoff and the Sonoff itself must control the lighting directly.

    >>20746761 Hi. In order for the staircase system to work properly, is one module enough? Or do there have to be two - one under each switch? Maybe a diagram of how to wire it under the switches? 😁😉
    Thanks in advance.

You only need one, connected according to the diagrams posted earlier, only instead of the usual switch there is a stair switch arrangement.

I guess I'm too thin on the subject because I'm experimenting and nothing is coming up. Can someone smarter tell me how specifically to connect the relay contacts to the switch? Does any modification need to be done to the other switch?

    You have the option to
    1) add another wire to existing 2 way wiring following the original diagram like this (ignore the neutral wire)

    2) or simply convert existing switches to momentary so you don’t need to install new wire

But he has an installation there with stair switches just can't figure out how to connect it to a Wi-Fi switch now.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around connecting the Sonoff ZBMINI L2 switch to a staircase-crossing circuit using Schneider SEDNA bistable switches. Initial guidance suggests connecting one or both end wires of the switch unit to the Sonoff, which should control the lighting directly. Users confirm that only one Sonoff module is needed for the staircase system, provided it is wired correctly. Additional suggestions include modifying existing switches to momentary types or adding another wire to the existing two-way wiring. Some users express confusion about the specific relay connections and whether modifications to the other switch are necessary.
