Hello, I'd love to get feedback on the flooding sensors you use in your homes. Perhaps a particular model has worked exceptionally well for you (or on the contrary, failed)? I'm considering installing 2 - 3 in sensitive areas (kitchen, bathroom, garage), I was thinking of ZigBee based ones, the models that caught my eye were
    RTX ZWS1 and Aqara SJCGQ11LM
There are also Wifi based solutions, but I don't know if it's worth bothering with them as I'm guessing the connection bypassing the Zigbee gateway may be more unreliable (am I wrong?).

I would be grateful for recommendations :) Thanks in advance!

In the end I opted for Zigbee - Aqara sensors connected to the Home Assistants and ZHA on the Raspberry Pi via the SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus coordinator. This works quite well although they require a fairly strong range (I use the Aqara Smart Plug as a Zigbee router to amplify the network).
I have two versions of the Aqara sensors, one from Allegro (WL-S02D reporting in HA as lumi.flood.agl02) and one from Aliexpress (SJCGQ11LM reporting in HA as lumi.sensor_wleak.aq1). Both work pretty well, although I feel the former performs slightly better. I had to update the firmware in the coordinator so that the battery charge percentages would appear - without this, ZHA was throwing them off the grid after 6 hours.
