Installation of an electro-valve and draw-off valve in a garden irrigation system.

Hi. I have made a system for watering from rainwater. Pump etc. I have brought the blue pipe, but also the control cable to the middle of the garden and a garden hose for this.
I have now made a simple key like this to run the pump.

I would like to do something such that at the end of this pipe on the garden side, I put on some electro-valve, plus some tap valve, and that this would start the pump for me and when I close the valve that the electro-valve would cut off the voltage given to the pump. . Is this possible? And will it work?
