I am in the middle of flashing >15 devices/lights thanks to this great firmware. Much faster and great support here.
While flashing to OpenBK7231T, I see the option "Convert to Open access WIFI" but I can't find any info about it.

What does this do and is it something to use?

Hello, where do you see this option? In the WWW panel, in "Configure WiFi"?
Well, this returns your device to AP mode (access point) but keeps your settings. OBK devices can be either in AP (access point) mode (it's default mode after flashing), or in STATION (WiFi network client) mode (when you enter your WiFi SSID and password).
