I am asking for feedback from anyone who has purchased the ESP8266/ESP32 microcontroller programming course from ATNEL. I am currently preparing for the second edition.
Did any of you attend the first one? What impressions and evaluation in terms of content? In short, is it worth it? Thanks in advance for your response.
>>20855679 The course is taught by Miroslaw Kardasio.
And I am quoting his answers below so that forum members can form an opinion about him and indirectly about the level of his courses:
Here are his texts of his responses to my support ticket of the purchased programme: 1- "I will once again try to help, but I warn you that this will be the last time if I hear such nonsense texts again". 2- "Have you at least once - one time - read the basic description of the MkAvrCalculator program on the manufacturer's website, i.e. at www.atnel.pl?" 3- "before you continue to write (sorry) nonsense about the incompatibility of something out there" 4- "And if you don't like the technical support - then just say goodbye". 5- "I don't like pushy customers, who seem to ask a question and then explain right away" 6- "What is the point of even writing to me?". And the best one, at the end: 7- "So a sip of cold water is recommended, backwards".
So I would NOT recommend anyone to contact this man, unless he changes for the better.
Additionally - I found here a description of another course participant's opinion: https://github.com/atnelpl in brief: "Maybe you're thinking of buying a spruced up ESP course for only 1650 PLN.... Or maybe you are a current course participant and want to add something from yourself - contact at the end. [...] The course was due to finish by the end of the year. The date was then postponed until the end of January. Today is the 14th of December. The last lesson was made available more than a fortnight ago, so given that we haven't actually moved on (only the use of AT commands was discussed) - either the remaining material will be done only superficially, or the course won't be finished before March. Because for the time being, as an investor I feel screwed[.]
And as my first attempt to contact the worthy author ended quickly, this is where I will be inserting summaries of the next lessons."
