    Hello,

I have recently uploaded the OpenBL602 program to the BL-200 module - Cozy Life bulb. For this I used the BLDevCube software version 1.8.
Screenshot of Bouffalo Lab Dev Cube 1.8.8 software configuration interface for BL602/604.

The process went well but after desoldering and connecting 230V the hotspot does not start for some reason. I connected the device to the recommended terminal and found this information:

    [ 0][[31mERROR [0m: hal_board.c: 942] wifi NULL.

    [ 0][[31mERROR [0m: hal_board.c:1075] bt NULL.

It looks like the wifi module is not detected. Can something be done about this?

I am also attaching the logs.

Unfortunately I haven't had this problem personally, but I read on one of the threads on our forum that it might be a matter of BLDevCube version and partition table. Did you also try flashing with an older DevCube, or was the same problem then?

    Hi,

I have tried several times. In version 1.4.8 I have the error:

Screenshot of a programming tool showing configuration and error during firmware upload.

Then I tried different combinations - version 1.8 with parameters 1.8 and 1.8 with parameters 1.4.8 - still unfortunately no hotspot appears.

Additionally I did a test on the second module to exclude damage and the behavior is the same - but after uploading with parameters 1.4.8 it stopped responding after the COM port. The programmer is rather ok because I have programmed several ESPs. Do you have any idea what could be wrong?

I didn't have this problem, with me everything worked as in our video:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5l7eNOuAZM
If it doesn't work for you, you could at least try other partition settings (TOML files) available in the SDK.
You could also try to download the new TOML files from the new BL602 SDK, maybe they changed something?
Since one module doesn't work anyway, it's worth a try, maybe something will work.

EDIT: Or maybe you should copy the TOML file from the old (our SDK) to the new flasher? Are they the same?

    Hi,

I did a lot of testing today - my logs look similar. I read through the serial port after uploading various *.toml, boot*.bin files and unfortunately none of the configuration fired up the wifi. I am attaching the configuration and logs.

The *.toml files mentioned vary between versions - I have used from 1.4.8 through 1.8.0 to 1.8.8 and none fixed the issue.

If there is a need to download the contents and upload, I can do so, just need to be supplied with the knowledge of how to do it. Thank you for your help!

These TOML files what they say you are uploading are from the latest SDK from Github, from Bouffallo Lab?

If so, then try to use files from our old SDK, the one that OpenBeken/OpenBL602 uses:
    https://github.com/openshwprojects/OpenBL602/
In other words, BLDevCube use new but TOML old.

But as I say, it's basically guessing, with BL602 I had little to do, it's not a very popular platform...

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues faced after uploading the OpenBL602 program to the BL-200 Cozy Life bulb using BLDevCube software version 1.8. The user reports that the hotspot does not activate post-upload, with error messages indicating that the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules are not detected. Various troubleshooting steps have been attempted, including using different versions of BLDevCube and testing multiple TOML configuration files, but none resolved the issue. Suggestions include trying older SDK files and ensuring compatibility between the BLDevCube and TOML files. The user has confirmed that all combinations of TOML files have been tested without success.
