    Hey Folks,

Has anyone had problems with their open becken randomly crashing? Mine is doing so every 6 to 8 hours. The reason I noticed is that it often sends the MTTQ message before the counters are loaded from the memory - with the energy values at zero and later on it updates itself. Sometimes it takes a while to do so. So HA generates a huge peak with the difference.

I'm wondering why the restarts - What your online stats are in terms on online time? Does it rank a few days or only a few hours?

Another bug, seems to be that after a manual restart or update, if fails to connect to the WiFi Network. Can't acess the webpage. I either have to do a power cycle or turn off the Wifi, wait 20seconds and turn it back on. It does not happen from a cold boot. My tasmotas don't have this problem.

    Thanks!

First of all, can you provide information which platform are you using? Then, what kind of driver and device?

I'm using the BK7231N. For now I'm just trying to rule out a problem with WiFi or power supply and trying to observe if these are known issues, particularly the failure to connect to the WiFi.

    Thanks

Update: It seems this was a specific problem with one of the devices I owe. I used a Aubess mini start switch without crashes so far. Another user trying the code reported no crashes too. So we can close this topic.

Sucessefully tried with a similar device from different manufacturer without issues. Also reported ok by another user on Github.

It would be interesting to check if your device still crashes if you power your WiFi module from external, reliable power supply. That would be useful because it would tell us whether it's a power-supply related issue or WiFi module related issue. Would you be able to check that?
