I'm trying to flash a new Feit dimmer that I just purchased. I've been reading and following several tutorials and such.
I see mentioned in several places that the chip is a T chip. However, when I try to backup the firmware with the BK Flasher application, it gets a CRC error.
Following the suggestions, I tried switching to the N firmware, and the firmware successfully passes the CRC test. This is strange!! Does this make any sense to anyone?

So I flashed the N firmware to the board. Now when I reboot the board, the blue light on the board blinks then goes steady, but no wifi network appears.

Can anyone suggest what to do next to troubleshoot?

So... after lots more googling I attached the TTY adapter to RX2/TX2 and opened PuTTY to the right com port with 115200 baud and watched lots of messages.
I saw it create the hotspot, which I was able to connect to. I suspect I wasn't waiting long enough.

However I'm still confused about the T/N thing, anyone have any thoughts?

You probably need to connect to the mains for the ap to show up.

Newer hardware revision use N chip, T is the older one.
Any picture of chip inside? Rarely it might be mislabelled, i think someone posted here cb2s chip on a plug, but inside was T chip

Try both versions (N vs T) and use whichever works. Manufacturers switch chips often
