Does anyone know if these are able to be flashed with cloudcutter? If so, what firmware should be used? I've tried several and while I get to the second stage of flashing in cloudcutter, I get the error "The profile you selected did not result in a successful exploit".

Any suggestions on proper firmware to use would be greatly appreciated! Image of a smart electrical plug with a button on top. HBN wall plug with technical information

It'll depend what version firmware they come with. If you're not in a position to disassemble and UART backup the device I think the only way to find out would be to pair it with the Tuya app then get the version reported in there

Hi, thanks for the response. They are running 1.0.3, I tried all the different 1.0.3 firmwares in cloudcutter with no luck.

I'm not sure if success can be had by choosing other profiles for devices with the same firmware version. Might have something to do with schemas (?). I'm not that familiar with Cloudcutter.

Is opening and flashing over uart an option for you?

I could, and I've already cracked one open. But, not sure it's worth the effort. I have 6 of them and was hoping there was something out there already, it's probably just easier to get some new plugs that are more easily converted. Thanks for the feedback!

If you get a backup of one it could be turned into a cloudcutter profile to use on the rest

I'll work on soldering some leads down so I can get a dump..
