I was having a problem with a Treatlife ss02 switch. After flashing it wouldn't connect to my wifi, it was a 4pk and the 3 others worked out just fine. I ended up reflashing it 5 or 6 times and trying the restore rf partition, but that didn't seem to work. What finally worked was setting the switch to ap mode and then resetting the wifi credentials. I don't know why it couldn't reset them by itself?
AI: What method or tool did you use to flash the Treatlife SS02 switch?
    Beken easy uart flasher
AI: Can you provide details about your WiFi network, such as the frequency band and security settings?

Maybe you have accidentally wrote OBK config to it with some incorrect SSID/pass data?

    >>21493000 It's possible, but I tried 5 or 6 times, so I would think unlikely

What do you mean by "reflashing 5 or 6 times"?

Flashing OBK binary does not erase the OBK config. OBK config is futher ahead in the flash. It is not overwritten with new OBK binary flash. Also, RF partition restore is also not removing OBK config. So it also won't restore device to AP state.

If you really want to "refresh" device to factory state, you need to:
    1. flash 2MB (full 2MB) factory backup that you taken earlier
    2. flash OBK QIO
Then you will get "fresh" OBK with empty OBK config.

Alternatively, you can use our flasher to either modify OBK config or to erase it.

And, of course, you can just do 5 power off/on cycles, to enable safe mode.

Of course, it does not explain how did you get OBK config with SSID in the first place, maybe that's not even the issue at all... it's hard to tell at this stage.

    >>21493469 I didn't realize that reflashing it would not reset the config. I did power cycle it to get to safe mode a few times but couldn't change the ssid/pass until I set it to ap mode, then I was able to reset the ssid/pass. Thanks for this info, it clears up a few mistaken ideas I had about what was going on!
