    Colleagues,

I have no experience with smart devices and hence a request for advice. Is there a smart socket available on the market that connects via wifi or bt to a phone that is suitable for reasonably precise measurement and logging of power consumption, e.g. is it able, for example, to detect a brief increase in load when the fridge unit starts up?

Do the smart sockets from the Shelly or Gosund brands (SP111) have such functionality?

Shelly 3EM Pro catches a peak for me when starting the fridge but I cannot say how reliable this reading is....

But I think it's an energy meter on TH35, not a smart socket?

Yes, but I would expect more accuracy from Shelly than from Gosunda
