I have purchased another double socket to flash, as in the U.K. you get these in various colours to suit your home. The brand is Varilight and they are available online from eBay or the some of the usual UK DIY stores.
They are reasonably expensive (£40–45); however, they are nicely made and don’t require butchering of the earth strap like the BG Electrical sockets I did a week or so ago.
Come with an ESP32-C3-MINI-1 so flashing is very easy as the board is socketed to the PCB inside. I used openESP32 to flash this.
A 6-pin LED driver connector from an old smart bulb works as a nice drop in pin arrangement too for flashing.
