Does the 3000 W Wi-Fi smart plug work on schedule without internet?

    Do the smart plugs for which there is software (Android or Windows) - here the on/off schedule - store this schedule in some internal memory, or do they need to have constant internet access?
    I will configure the schedule via the app at a location where there is internet access. But then the plug will run (3000 W) at a location where there is no internet access. Of course, any editing of the schedule will take place at the location with access.
    That is, a plug with a schedule without internet access, but a schedule programmed from a software position, not a manual programmer.
    Will this work?

    Gee, I wouldn't give my head and maybe someone will correct me, but I have BLOW sockets and from what I recall, when they had a schedule programmed, they remembered it even when the network changed, that is, when they weren't paired with the app.

    But overall, the answer to this question is very simple....

    The scheduler executes based on the current time. The time (current date, time) can either be from the internet (downloaded via the NTP protocol) or from an RTCC module with a backup, e.g. on a battery.
    We have already reviewed a bit of IoT devices on the forum, here is a list of them - almost 900 entries:

    and I have so far not seen a single one there with such time support....

    And this means that when the power is cut off (even for a moment) such a Tuya or similar plug will lose the current time information.

    And since it has no current time information, it won't execute the schedule either.... so it's not even a question of schedule memory, but whether the plug in question will have somewhere to take the current time from when you plug it in in a room where it doesn't have access to its paired WiFi.

    To summarise your advice. I am looking for a plug whose schedule I will design based on Android or PC software with access, thanks to the battery-powered plugs I will move to the workplace. The plug-ins will then have the current time permanently based on which they will execute the on/off schedule. Of course, the precision of the current time is not important here - even as the time will not synchronise with the current time over time.
    Are there such plug-ins available for purchase?

    You'll probably have to look for something like this:
    Timer programmer with LCD JK-TM01 - operation, instructions, interior, construction
    This programmer shown is set by the LCD with buttons, and there is a time backup inside in case of power loss.

    Only best to select with power backup.
