Hi.
I have taken Broadlink Pro + (plus) out of the 'cupboard' after 2 years and cannot install it.
I have tried with the programs e-Control and IHC. In both programs the process fails.
Only by using the configuration in AP mode (RM PRO broadcasts its own WiFi network), I managed to get RM Pro to connect to the local WiFi network, it gets an IP address from DHCP, from the router I can see its mac address. Unfortunately also in this option (configuration in AP mode) fails even though RM PRO connects to the Wi-Fi. After such an unsuccessful configuration, RM PRO gives ping, after a reboot it logs into the network again.
What else have I tried?
- A reset to factory settings (the blue light suggests it performed correctly)
- installation from older versions of IHC also failed.
- I did not find anything interesting on the web (maybe I searched wrongly).
If my memory serves me correctly, the equipment functioned normally (briefly) after purchase. Then it ended up on the "junk" shelf and lay there for 2 years.
I'm hoping someone can figure out how to install it.
