Gentlemen, what about the Makita PLM4628N mower? But is the recommended Word better?

I have a garden of about 30-35 ares, but a lot of shrubs, flower beds, etc. - generally more twirling than normal mowing - I posted a photo for orientation - what is in the picture 4 times (on each side of the house).

Best Petrol Lawn Mowers under PLN 1400 with Drive & Engine Speed Control: Top Picks

The plot is also on a slope, so I would like the mower not to be some heavy ax.
Until now, I had a mower with a Tecumseh Prisma 37 engine on the housing (some crap because I was still welding it and it cracked) with a 46 cm knife and if it were not for the poor quality and quite heavy housing, it even worked well (unfortunately, a 5x5 cm hole in the connecting rod housing was created ) in this garden and despite the relatively low power, I basically always mowed it with "half or 3/4 throttle" (in general I would rather not want more because there is a lot of spinning instead of straight cutting).

I bought a few last equipment from Makita, and I am happy with them, so now I think about Makita (EA4300 saw, ELM3320 mower - narrow mowing area, but in tight corners it works) although a few years ago I bought a Demon brushcutter for PLN 350 and if not the fact that the screws loosen and every now and then you have to twist it, it also goes crazy.
Please advise what you think, Makita, Word, maybe something else?
I've never had a motorized mower - do you have to be careful not to keep it from breaking down all the time?
My father-in-law bought a Honda 476 again (used for PLN 700), maybe this is also an option?
I would not like anything very expensive (they have already stolen one mower), but I think that in the range of PLN 1000-1800, something sensible will be found.

World will be a much better choice, by the way, Makita does not produce their mowers.

    Hi

I am looking for a mower for my dad in the amount of about PLN 1,500.00

We have a lawn of about 1000 m2, not completely even, there are a lot of bushes and plants on the plot to avoid and dad 60

We had a lot of years of AL-KO with a Briggs engine and it was a combine but unfortunately time killed her.
Generally, my father likes Briggs engines because they were famous for failure-free operation, but I don't know how it is now. Two years ago he bought a second mower for a promotion, but he is terribly weak and cannot cope.

I found something like this but it seems terribly kitschy to me.

In the meantime, you recommended this topic a few years ago, but I don't know if it's still ok

So I'm looking for Loncin, what power do you advise? That old briggs was a harvester and this new one is so weak it can barely mow.
Father is quite dynamic, there is also uneven terrain there, weeds, so maybe something stronger.

You wrote here that the brand of the mower is also very important besides the engine. This GRASS will be ok?

On the Allegro with this engine there is mainly the FAWORYT brand, GREEN TIGER and a little more expensive OLEO-MAC

.... going to the heart of the matter of the AL-KO mower is a different story, asymmetrical housing that facilitates attaching to, for example, a fence, Highline housings that fill the basket in 100%. ,,,.

Following your advice, I bought ALKO Highline. In principle, you can be satisfied for the price. Punching the basket is cool .. this shifting the engine from the axis of symmetry also helps. Easy to maneuver. It fires quite nice. However, I have a few minor points that may be slightly irritating. Maybe you have some advice?
    1. Loncin engine - in the cold it waves very strongly .. when it warms up properly, the waves are minimal but still there is.
    2. There is always some grass left to the right of mowing, which comes out from under the bowl
    3. The basket has such a protruding tongue to the front, which makes it difficult to pour the grass into the bag - I'm wondering whether to cut the tongue - it was not there in the old ALKO. The basket without this tongue should also stick - in fact, I do not know what this tongue is for - just to cover the holes for the mulching plug?
    4. Could go a little faster, so 0.5-1km per hour faster

    1. The engine should not undulate, so you should report it to the service under warranty.
    2. If I understand correctly, there is play between the engine and the casing, and it is in every mower, these grass particles do not matter at all, but with a dull blade there may be more of them.
    3. This tongue is so that when removing a full basket of grass, the grass remains on it and does not fall onto the lawn, the fact that you pour it into a bag is another matter, it is impossible to reconcile all of them.
    4. The drive is optimally positioned for most users, so as not to push and run after it as in normal mowers, but there are many Chinese mowers that you have to run or push them behind.
It is a pity that you do not have a comparison with other machines because only then will you be appreciated what you have.

Ad 1. I will do so without waiting until spring.
Ad 2. If it were particles, I would have ignored it ... The previous AL-KO mower did not leave it ... Here it looks unsightly on the lawn.
Ad 3. It's a bit like half and half because the tongue is not across the entire width, but only in the place where it can enter the "mower discharge channel". There is no tongue in the rest of the basket and there the grass flies onto the lawn anyway. To sum up ... This language can be cut short.
Ad 4. Getting used to the previous AL-KO Silver 46BR mower - you walked a bit faster and you didn't have to run ... Maybe in 10-15 years this speed will be optimal for me. ; D

    Thanks for the response. Regards.

    Hello.
I read this thread with curiosity as I am looking for a lawn mower but I don't know more than I knew before reading it, :) so many options and nuances.
Riwall 196 cm? 51 cm I want to buy it because of the large basket, large cutting width and drive, the price is tempting - PLN 1299, but also the opinions of buyers.
Would you recommend it or not?

    Added after 8 [minutes]:

Chinese, like Chinese, but if there is a Loncin engine, because it is the result of the capacity, you can take a risk, because they are supposedly good engines, well, if it is the original Loncin. Sooner the housing / tow truck will fall apart, wheels like this engine. But in this case it is difficult to judge, maybe this (this engine) is already some kind of a fake? Just remember that he (this engine) does not have the same power as stated there - 9 HP, at least twice as high as this power. When it has about 4.5-5 KM, it is already a success ...

Riwall has been serving his parents on the farm for a year, and many stones have seen and mowed large areas. So far, without any failures, apart from breaking one weld from the guard at the front of the knife, but it's the user's fault and driving into the root ...

I am looking for a mower for a simple lawn around 12 ares and I have a dilemma:
    https://allegro.pl/oferta/kosiarka-spalinowa-oleo-mac-gmc-48-pk-allroad4-11925211454
    https://allegro.pl/oferta/kosiarka-bez-napedu-solidna-world-grl-460p-hw-4w1-11347435129

World GRL appeals to me more, but I don't have it anywhere in stationary.
I have Oleo-mac on site and once in progress with the seller (~ PLN 100, oil changes, knife sharpening, inspection), a 5-year warranty.
What can you do in such a situation?

Hello. I am asking for advice on choosing a spline with a drive. I had AlKo 470BR with Briggs 625 so far. The mower is now 15 years old and totally trouble-free, but the body has rusted quite a lot. I want to buy the same equipment. For years. Min 46 cm, max 51 cm. Budget PLN 2-3 thousand.

What do you propose? There must be a decent engine, a decent drive and that the body does not rust quickly.

Buy the same. Wash after the season and during. Maintain and enjoy your equipment. I had a Husqvarna with a plastic housing and after years the holes developed and also needed to be replaced. In addition, the stone damaged the casing. Aluminum ones are good, but Alu ones are not eternal either. It oxidizes.

I'm not saying THIS will fit, but guys should pick the right one.
Basically, the mounting of the motors to the body is standard (hole spacing). The point is that the "depth" of the body (in terms of the length of the motor axis) is appropriate and the mounting system of the handles ("handles" of the mower) is correct ...

ATTENTION to the width of the knife - the diameter of the housing must also match. The guys from ALKO will definitely pick something up. Several mower models have the same body - here I agree.

    Hello everyone,
I've just had my old mower die and need some advice and help choosing a new one. My budget is the less the better..., but around 2500, I think I can manage. I have about 3000 m2 of rough terrain to mow, more of a "meadow" than a lawn. So the mower should have big wheels, a strong engine and a sturdy trolley with cheap parts available and 'reasonably' durable. I was thinking of a powerful Honda or B&S engine. That's what I thought, I don't know if it's realistic, but it's worth asking around. I was thinking of mowers from the following companies:
Hortmasz, Cedrus, Oleo-Mac or maybe some other?

    Please help

After a recommendation from the gentleman from the Agromatech shop in Warsaw, the choice fell on the World GRL 530S, Loncin 196 engine. After mowing 3/4 of the plot I am delighted with this mower, it is a tank not a mower compared to my previous Hecht 547 SHW.
