I am a novice administrator of a newly built hotel. The building has 30 rooms, according to the wishes of the owner I am to agree with the installation teams that each room can be billed separately for the consumption of utilities. The electrician's team convinces me that the best solution would be to use Mbus- a to collect consumption information; and here the stairs begin. I would like to be able to get information on the consumption of water, electricity, heat (radiators) and air conditioning separately, for each room. I know that the company doing the electrics is a partner of a well-known manufacturer and offers its solutions. My question is: what are the advantages and disadvantages of installing the mbus, what equipment should be used in each room and in the control room to read everything, if possible what are the estimated costs of the installation and its further maintenance, what about the failure rate? Which wired or unwired option is better and why?
