Where can I find a diagram of a weather station based on ESP8266 and 0.96 inch ic2 LED?

Hello everyone after a long break.
I'm looking for a diagram of a weather station based on esp8266 and 0.96cala ic2 led display.
These are my beginnings in this subject, I am looking for step by step instructions to connect the display and to program the esp to download data from some weather service.

I think a good starting point would be the project ThingPulse ESP8266 Weather Station ( Link ). It uses the OpenWeatherMap service.
