    Hello,

I have some OpenBK devices here and would like to add them as a "device" in Home Assistant, but can only add them there as an "entity" (via configuration.yaml). The background is simply that I would like to set parameters such as "Brightness" or "Status (Off / On) there, as with Tasmota. Unfortunately, if I only have the entity, I cannot set this. This is particularly annoying with automation. If it's not quite clear what I mean, I can add a few more pictures that describe the problem in more detail.

Hello, can you elaborate on what exactly you mean? Screenshots?

OpenBeken supports two modes of Home Assistant configuration:
    - you can use Home Assistant Discovery to automatically add the device to HA
    - you can manually write a YAML script and add it to configuration.yaml, then you have full control over all settings

    Hi,
actually now that I tried it again, the integration worked. Before I only had one entity in my HomeAssistant and no device (had it in the configuration.yaml).
Now that I have done "HA Discovery" again, I actually have it in.

    Thank you very much!
