Hi, I have seen some tutorials on YouTube for flashing Tuya device chips. I bought one programmer (PL2303HX) and hooked up the power cables and the RX and TX cables, but I can't connect to the chip using the Open Beken GUI program. What could this be the fault of? The program says that it cannot open the serial port.

    Knowledge from videos .... :( somewhere between flat-earthers, anti-vaccinationists, electricity deniers ?

Even Sz.P. did not specify from which .... a competent course gives "some" preparation on how to react to errors, how to diagnose it to yourself, and an incompatible serial port is a common problem.
Probably the bit about installing drivers the author "forgot" to specify.

I don't know, I'm not that familiar with this subject of programming etc. But I can solder well and I can solder a few wires to a chip. The programming issue is worse, I don't know what could be to blame.

I have everything connected together as in this picture USB plug connected with wires to a circuit board and electronic components. Screenshot of the BK7231 Easy UART Flasher program with an error message Open serial failed!.

but as you can see the port is detected, i.e. the programmer is detected, but already when trying to sflash it shows that the serial port can not be opened. What could this be the fault of? And what is the best way to do this?
