Hi. I need your help on the subject of controlling a 12v linear actuator. I have a 4 channel Smart 12v module, which I am currently using to start the pump at a given time - here it is so simple that the relay short circuits the contact and the function is simply on/off. With an actuator, I need to open it at a given time and close it at another, so there must be a polarity change. Please tell me how to do this in the simplest way. I don't want to overcomplicate things. Please find attached pictures of the components. Thank you in advance. 12V linear actuator with wires. Well you understand, it should work.
I still want to make sure with one question - I connect the receiver (actuator) to the COM contacts of these relays ?

The solution to the topic based on the relays mentioned in the article met my expectations completely. Thank you for your help.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around controlling a 12V linear actuator using a 4-channel Smart module. The user seeks a simple method to achieve polarity reversal for opening and closing the actuator at specified times. Responses suggest utilizing an H-bridge configuration, which can be implemented with two relays connected according to a provided schematic. Additional recommendations include using an ESP8266 with a relay module and the ESP EASY programming language for enhanced control. The user confirms that the relay-based solution meets their expectations.
