Hello, I have a smart socket like the one in the picture. How do I add this device to the app? Unfortunately the smart life app does not detect it. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you in advance for any help.

The QR code, which is on the socket, redirects to the Smart Life app download page. I hold down the start button for 5 seconds and the LED blinks rapidly, which I'm guessing means entering pairing mode. Or has anyone had this problem and it works on another app?

Are you then within range of a WiFi network(socket the same)?

Yes I am. I have specifically created an additional wifi network for this device on 2.4 only .

    I'm going to step up.
I have three of these smart sockets bought on aliexpress:
Smart plug with button and blue marking. .
The problem is that I can't pair any of them with Smart Life. One I bought earlier in Poland I paired and it works. In the instructions it says like bull that when you hold down the button the LED will flash quickly, but with me on these three it's about once a second. I keep getting the message that it either can't see the network or it's not there at all. Phone logged into wifi, next to the router.
    The socket has five modes:
    - LED not on
    - blue LED on
    - blue LED is blinking
    - red LED on
    - red diode on and blue diode flashing.
In all modes I have tried to pair the sockets, unfortunately with no results. Neither the application's automatic mode nor manual socket selection has any effect. With automatic, the socket is even detected by the connection wizard, but the finalisation does not take place.
The Chinese person has agreed to give the cash back and accept the return. However, I don't want to cause problems for someone as it may be my fault.
If anyone would be able to help I would be grateful.

Sockets returned to seller without any problems.
