I purchased this EU Power Monitoring Plug on ALIEXPRESS in July 2024. It has the reference JR-PM09.

It is equipped with the LN882H module and it did not seem compatible with alternative firmware. After searching online, I found this topic:

    https://www.elektroda.com/rtvforum/topic4032240.html

I followed the procedure below using the software "ln_download_tool_V3.0.1" and the firmware "OpenLN882H_1.17.662.bin" to reprogram the chip.

    The reprogramming worked well.

I used the pinout of the ELVICO plug.

My plug is recognized in Home Assistant

Hoping that this topic can help other JR-PM09 owners.

Thank you for sharing. We didn't get much LN882H devices yet. It's interesting to see more and more of them on the market.

Can you also share a YAML template so I can add this device to our devices list:
    https://openbekeniot.github.io/webapp/devicesList.html

It's also good to easy this particular seems to be easy to disassemble. At least easier than LSPA9.
