    Hi everybody,

I have a LEDVANCE Wifi SUN@HOME PANAN FLOOR LED uplight and want to flash it with openbeken. I want to avoid disassembling the device if I can and ask whether there is anyone out there who has already flashed this device or knows if the findings i.e from this forum's topic...

...eventually can just be transferred to this device. I also don't want to brick the device - so probably someone with more experience can direct me into the right direction ;-)

    Best regards,

    Stephan

If that's the same device as in previous topic, then configuration should be very simple.

Just keep in mind that some new devices are patched and they require soldering to be flashed. What is the Tuya firmware version shown in the Tuya app? Do not update the Tuya firmware.

I'd suggest UART (soldering wires) method and it should work good for every device.

You can also do config extraction this way:

    Hi everybody,
thanks for your immediate reply: as I told above ideally I want to avoid disassembly and soldering: But watching your videos I came across the - for me completely new - fact that the GPIO/PWM settings stay in device's flash and could still be read out from there even after having flashed openbeken already. If that's correct, I was wondering if I could I not give it a try and flash directly via tuya cloudcutter...or is that too dangerous...
As device is ledvance I can not discover it via original tuya app - only firmware info I could see from there is:

App screen showing settings for device LDVS@HPananFloor.
Device update screen indicating the software is up-to-date.

Is this information of use for anyone here in order to determine what firmware to flash?

    Best Regards,
    Stephan
