Will the Zamel Supla work if I connect it on the floor and not at the switch?

Hi. I have a light installed in the roof soffit and would like to make it so it can be switched on via Wi-Fi. I have a light switch on the ground floor, but it's very cramped in the box :/ will it work if I plug in a wire somewhere on the first floor, rather than immediately in the box behind the switch? It seems to me that it should work normally, but maybe I'm wrong?

You can but it will work ( only on Wi-Fi ) , the switch will have to be permanently on .

- ( here it is a question of how many wires you have coming up to the lamps on the floor )

An extra wire as much as possible will work both .
