    Hello,

Do you guys think I can use BK7231 (I have wb8p and wb2s) module or NiceMCU-WB3S, maybe even LN882 in combination with OpenBeken to control my Carrier and Midea AC units /they use same control dongles/?

I can deal with making the hardware to get power and connect to the AC UART, but I have zero programming skills.
So do you think it is possible with OpenBeken as done here with ESP: https://github.com/dudanov/iot-uni-dongle ?

So your AC has basically an UART port and you want to send UART commands to it via OBK?
Sure, no problem, even UARTSendHex could do it. What is the specs of the commands you want to send? Do you have a datasheet or a specific code sample that you'd like to run?
We've already done something similar for Roomba: https://www.elektroda.com/rtvforum/topic4056887.html

Now that I think bout it I am currently wasting your time,
Let me get some digging first so I can get to actual testing - then I might open this again.

I am too tight on free time, so could be months.
