I have already repaired at least 20 keyboards (mine, from colleagues, etc.), of course, ordinary computer keyboards (in laptops I have not seen the key jam yet) but instead of a tube I always put a match, for example, or a piece of a stick in the ear perfectly fit (of course you know what I mean

). It is rather logical that such a key has a different mechanical resistance than the others, but in my opinion it is very weak, because the bit more of this key touching the eraser is only to bounce the key back to its place. Until now I have the A and S keys 'fixed' in this way in my keyboard and they work so that I don't even feel the difference between the other keys.
