  • How to quickly fix a stuck key on the keyboard?
We've all struggled with a jamming key on the keyboard. This is a problem that anyone can deal with quite easily. Below is a short video with a very simple way to fix a button jamming.

We should also remember that periodically you need to disassemble the keyboard, remove all the buttons and clean all the plastic thoroughly with water, otherwise it may start something for us growing in the keyboard :)

First of all, this applies only to "ordinary" keyboards, in the case of slimes, i.e. laptops, we have scissor systems and it will not work here.

2, this pipe / straw in the case of keyboards can do more harm than good - often the key directly touches the rubber cap, which reflects the key (partially) and additionally has electrically conductive rubber, and such a cut tube can cut the "cap" ...

And that in the wrong department I am already skipping it.

Maybe I'm too oversensitive, but such a button will have a different mechanical resistance than the others.

I have a slightly different keyboard, but when I get stuck, it's:
    - I take out the key, taking care of the eraser
-I blow out the key, eraser and place on the keyboard
    -possible cleaning with alcohol
-gently press it back and it works !!!

Yes, buddy, picnic, Except that a jamming button (when you click it, it does not pop off) is not always (almost) the fault of dirt. Usually, the fault is simply the breakage of the rubber that bounces the key. I have already repaired at least 20 keyboards (mine, from colleagues, etc.), of course, ordinary computer keyboards (in laptops I have not seen the key jam yet) but instead of a tube I always put a match, for example, or a piece of a stick in the ear perfectly fit (of course you know what I mean :P ). It is rather logical that such a key has a different mechanical resistance than the others, but in my opinion it is very weak, because the bit more of this key touching the eraser is only to bounce the key back to its place. Until now I have the A and S keys 'fixed' in this way in my keyboard and they work so that I don't even feel the difference between the other keys.

    Regards, Bronek.

There is every key on such a plate, sometimes the plate breaks or jumps in badly and the key locks up.

When I clean the keyboard, I have "erasers" which are reflected by the keys, I wash with alcohol and every time it helps and the keyboard flashes like new

I confirm and also add that these wires sometimes like to block the keys or do not want to bounce the key up ...

I also get stuck with the fact that the key does not pop out right away, it is certainly due to the fact that I spilled a drink on the keyboard only that I put a stick in cleaning and I still have no idea what I can do to help and the eraser is fine
