How can you be sure it is connected to what?

I think it is facing the wall.
What does "facing the wall" mean?

You have no idea of the operation of the system you have but assume it is malfunctioning?
This "flashing" of the LED does not prove anything - you should approach the keypad and check if any of the inputs are violated when the sensor is violated.

Yours - draw what the corridor looks like (with dimensions) where the sensor is placed.
    gosc100 wrote:
Because there is no field of view of the sensor
    .
Do you know what the viewing angle of the sensor is, at what height it should be mounted to work properly?
    gosc100 wrote:
    Yes I have already checked.

What did you check, in what way?

That's great - I asked my buddy then he told me "maybe pigs will start flying".
I asked for something, if you expect help do it at last.
Well for the last time I am waiting for you to finally write what system it is.

No wonder since you can't answer the questions asked, even the drawing was hard to make....

Tomorrow I will call the service from the system and check everything.

You, of course, will pay for it, but that's what happens when you can't even operate the system you bought.

Topic summary

A Satel PIR motion detector installed in a corridor is operational with a flashing LED but fails to detect motion, likely due to incorrect installation. The detector is currently facing directly toward a wall, limiting its field of view. Proper installation typically requires mounting the sensor in a corner to maximize coverage within its specified viewing angle and height. Verification of system inputs via the keypad is recommended to confirm sensor activation upon motion detection. Adjustments to the detector's sensitivity or orientation may be possible via controls on the device handle. The user lacks detailed knowledge of the system's operation and plans to contact professional service for further diagnostics. The discussion emphasizes the importance of correct sensor placement, understanding system integration, and consulting technical documentation or service support for optimal PIR detector performance.
