Sygonix RSL864R smart socket - no remote control pairing available.

Some time ago I bought such a socket. According to the seller it was a socket with WiFi, but as I soon found out, this clearly has nothing to do with it, and is more like a typical 492Mhz switch. However, despite many attempts on various standard remotes, it does not pair, although the button triggers the relay as well as pairing mode by rapidly flashing an LED.
Maybe one of my colleagues can tell me if it is possible to connect any other remote control besides the original Sygonix one?
I feel a pity to throw it in the bin, as it could always be used as a manual switch for a printer power supply or something similar.
