My problem is simple I would like to read the measurement of my water meter at home using my phone. Is there any way to do this? I was thinking of buying a radio receiver, which I would calibrate to my water meter and connect it to some board that supports smartdom so I can see in real time what my water consumption is. The thing is, I have these water meters in a place that is not very accessible, and I have to give the water meter reading to my landlord every month because the flat is rented. As for the equipment I have, well I have a MacBook and an iPhone, so it is important that this Plate is compatible with the Home kit from Apple. The water meter I have fitted is a Bmeters Hydrodigit S-1. Anyone have any ideas on how to do this and what hardware to buy

Simpler is also possible . You have power and internet there , because receiver , board and Home Apple . Or maybe the cheapest IP camera and an app for it . You have remote viewing of the water meter . The only thing is that it has to be placed several cm in front of the meter .

    .
This is an idea I'll certainly consider, but I'd rather have something that peaks the measurement for me. I was still thinking of programming an Arduino Nano and connecting two pulsometers to it and calibrating it so that it reads my measurement based on the pulses the water meter produces, but ideally I could download the data by radio.
