Hi All,
I purchased some Kogan Smart Plug with Monitor to try and flash Tasmota.
After failing with the Tuya-Convert tool I popped open the case to find a WB2S (WB25) / BK7231T chip.
I then found the tuya-cloudcutter tool but had no luck, my device was not in the list.
I initially tried accessing the chip while still connected, but had issues getting it into flash mode, I think this is due to the resistor across the button/switch.
Removing the chip I was able to connect up and dump the firmware.
Connect the chip as 3.3v, GND, RX, TX (see last image, first 4 pins starting from the left) and then short GND to CEN (3rd image, first pin on the left) to get it into flash mode, then use bk7231tools to dump the firmware.
I then run it through the tuya-cloudcutter profile-creator tool and was able to flash a second Smart Plug using tuya-cloudcutter!
I had submitted PR4 to enable support for this model.
Currently flashed 3 of these using tuya-cloudcutter and BK7231T / CCtr Flash / OpenBK7231T_UG_1.15.149.bin from OpenBK7231T_App.
Using the "Generic Tuya WIFI Smart Socket (LSPA8) with WB2S and BL0937" profile. No energy monitoring (
Edit: Energy Monitoring works, but requires the device be rebooted after setting the LSPA8 profile.
