Hi, I have a problem with roller shutters. I bought a flat from a developer and the roller shutter switch was a standard up-down switch and I had to hold it all the way down to open or close each window. A little bit tricky, so I ordered wifi switches. I paired it with my phone, it works, but it doesn't close or open the roller shutters. In the old switch, there were 3 cables connected to the old switch: phase, neutral, and black L2 or L3. I don't know, there are a couple of other cables in the box, grounding etc. The new wifi switch does not open or close the roll-down shutters even with the buttons, it does not react at all. On this switch, I have there marked N, L-phase, L2, and L3, and shit, or there is some cable missing from the box from the roll-down shutter motor, or I do not know. Strange that there are only 3 cables and the old switch had only these 3 cables connected.

Well, you described the problem in one sentence, but not in a very clear way. Take photos of what you have in the boxes, what wifi switches you have, what voltages are in the wires and on which ones. Maybe something can be worked out.

On the old switch, you have phase control, top down by passing on L1 and L2 to the actuator. And you still need an N wire for the WIFI controller.

I also added that the yellow-green cable I found in the box comes out from the top together with the cables from the roller shutter motor, but it was plugged into the group phase from the socket switches etc. Now how to connect it so that the new switch works I must add that it does not work on 3 cables and the black cable goes into the neutral otherwise the switch does not light up brown L

New on L you give brown from old L, on L1 L2 brown black and additionally blue on N.

Yes, but I didn't like the number of cables buried in the box - green, blue and various - and in the roller shutter switches - 3 cables are plugged in. If I unplug something in the box, something disappears somewhere, which is why I'm asking the professionals😉 Now I know that there are 5 cables going from the roller shutter motor to the switch - 3 of them are plugged in and in order to move the roller shutter downstairs I have to stand and push 3 buttons x 6 windows every day - it's a tragedy who installs such switches......

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a user's difficulty in connecting a new WiFi roller shutter switch after replacing an old standard up-down switch. The user initially had three cables connected to the old switch: phase, neutral, and a black wire (L2 or L3). After installing the new WiFi switch, which has terminals marked N, L-phase, L2, and L3, the roller shutters do not respond. Participants suggest that the new switch requires a neutral wire (N) and provide guidance on how to connect the existing cables correctly. The user shares images of the wiring setup and expresses frustration over the complexity of the installation, noting that multiple cables are present but only three were connected to the old switch. The conversation includes troubleshooting steps and wiring diagrams to assist in resolving the issue.
