    Hi All,

I'm in possession of a few of these plugs:
    https://zry.io/smart-home/elivco-lspa9-smart-plug/

I have flashed ESPhome on them using Tuya Cloudcutter, and this is successful.
I can flash new firmware to them using the OTA option in the web interface or through esphome itself.

I would like to go to OpenBKN because of the MQTT implementation that ESPhome does not have.

Would it be possible to compile firmware of OpenBKN and flash it to my ESPhome plugs using the OTA option in the web interface?

    Thanks in advance.

The esphome guys are using some kind of strange, non-BKstandard format for BK binary, totally different from Tuya. This is very strange, because it makes migration way harder, but it's still possible to migrate. Suprisingly enough, migrating the other way is easy. Hmmm, strange.
I think that @ferbulous may know something more about it, we had a thread about it.

Thanks for this information, that's very valuable :)

I read through the topics that you put in your post, and found this repo:

    https://github.com/BenJamesAndo/OpenBeken_uf2_firmware

This person converted the OpenBekend firmware to a compatible uf2 format.

I have flashed it remotely (shouldn't have done that), but it told me "flash successful!" but now I have to go home first to check if it is broadcasting the Open Wifi network to configure it haha.

Thanks, I will keep you posted about the result.

Whoa, what a nice find! Well, it seems that we can now assume it's solved. I will remember that link!
