    Thanks, I will add this entry right away. Out of curiosity, why did you desolder the WiFi module with hot air? I see you've partially melted the pin header as well. Kapton tape could have preventd that

    The CB3S is quite tight against those unused headers and it was hard to tell if the lower pads were soldered or not. Now we know they're not.

    Also noted the wires from the 16A relay are 1.5mm2, I think, while the wires between the sockets are 2.5mm2.

    Tuya AU Avoir IP66 Outdoor Dual Smart Socket has now failed. Scorched board, regulator, IC and CB3S all failed.
    No weather ingress. no obvious cause.
    Quickest/easiest solution for me was to grab the board out of one of these which fitted where the original board was.
    White outdoor dual smart socket by EKO with three plug slots and a maximum load of 10A 2400W.
