Flashing TYWE3S Chip on Atomi Smart WiFi Lights with OpenBK Without Level Shifter

Would it be possible to flash this with OpenBK without adding the level shifter? It appears to be a TYWE3S chip, which shows to be supported.. I have 6 or so of these lights and would love to get them off tuya..

Are you really sure that you still have TYWE3S version and not WB3S/CB3S?

I haven't opened one up yet.. I was waiting on some heat shrink to get it back waterproofed as I will need to break open the case.. I have had these for at least a few years, they have been installed on my back porch..

I guess I will do it now and report back..

I can't get the chip to get detected.. It keeps telling me to reboot / or short CEN (pin3) to gnd.. I have tried both.. when I plug my TTL adapter in it powers on the lights, not sure if it is turning the chip on or not..

I was able to get it flashed to OPenBK... now I need to find a profile that makes them work i guess..
