    What kind of device do you have exactly, can you share better photos?

    Those wires are very long, they are prone to interference. You should shorten them.

    Are you sure that your USB to UART converter can provide enough current for WiFi module? I never managed to flash a device that way, I always use external 3.3V LDO.

    Futhermore, is there anything on RX/TX pins of the WiFi module? Maybe there is already TuyaMCU or something interfering?

    It's hard to exactly tell what may be going wrong, there can be multiple problems. Please provide more information.

    I am also in the process of flashing a EARU RDCBC2-WiFi device but found that RX pin is connected to power measurement chip. Still haven't figured out how to remove this connection without having to go through a complete de soldering process.

    In my case, luckily the WiFi module is on a daughter board.

    However this is not for OpenBeken but for Tasmota (ESP).
