    The Chinese had plug-in power supply housings, it had plugs and USB sockets, but it needed 12V, it made 12V. Now the user must be smart and follow the pictorial instructions and not try to plug USB devices into a 12V power supply. Of course there will be 'clever others' who will do this to their despair by destroying devices designed for 5V power. I see no problem with this.
