Flashing Wi-Fi Smart Switch Based on RTL8710BX: Is it Possible?

    I have bought a Wi-Fi smart switch that looks like those I have reflashed before with OpenWrt.
    This one is not a Beken, it is based on RTL8710BX. Can it be flashed with something useful?

    I've started working on related RTL family some time ago but had to interrupt due to my single RTL chip dying:

    I will try to pick it up soon and look into BX as well.

    Currently, you can replace the chip to TYWE2S/ESP-02S:

    I will let you know once there's a progress on OBK for this platform, but for now, chip swap is a good idea.
