Interior and firmware change of the SB527 roller shutter controller - version 2023.04.13, comparison

QS-WIFI-ECC02 Wi-Fi curtain controller in an open package. .
I will show here the inside of another roller shutter controller, this time with a PCB dated 2023.04.13. This will be a newer version of the RTX WCM1MR controller shown some time ago, dated 2022.12.26. I will upload open firmware to it so as to free it from the cloud and allow further configuration on my own.

NOTE: This product is a newer version of the RTX WCM1MR , so I'll cut the commentary here a bit short.

The whole thing was bought for about £60, here's the packaging including the markings - SB527:

Marking on the module itself: QS-WIFI-ECC02
Instructions:

QS-WIFI-ECC02 shutter controller installation manual. User manual of the WiFi module with QR code for the Tuya Smart app. .

Tuya tests omitted, let's lift the lid:

Here is the WiFi module:

For details of this module I refer to RTX WCM1MR .
The rest is also according to the mentioned theme:

The only difference I've spotted is a small modification to the WiFi module - there was previously a CBLC9, now there is a CBLC9S:

Someone on our forum has come across a similar module before:

The WiFI module needs to be soldered, preferably using flux and braid, and then you can use our flasher:

As with RTX WCM1MR .

6d035bb6c Summary .
Basically not much has changed, I am posting the topic informatively for those searching by model name for this version of this device. The status as of 2023.04.13 shows that Tuya has only changed the CBLC9 module to the similar CBLC9S, the rest unchanged.
Of course, such a controller requires additional scripting to work with roller shutters, I have only given here the GPIO roles themselves, but this scripting was already discussed in other topics:
https://www.elektroda.com/rtvforum/topic3972935.html
https://www.elektroda.com/rtvforum/topic4015497.html#20910126
That's it from my side - maybe someone will find it useful. If anyone finds a newer version of this product, please let me know.

I also have about 5 of these, fixed price on Ali around 4.5$. I have not tested them yet, I understand that the switches should be shorted to the phase as shown in the picture ? this seemed a bit strange... [Read more]
