I have multiple devices running OpenBeken firmware, and it’s an excellent project. I love it! Thank you for the ongoing support and development!

However, I’m experiencing an issue with battery-powered door sensors (PB-69W or BK7231N/CBU3 models that are not TuyaMCU). The models described in these threads
    https://www.elektroda.com/rtvforum/topic3994294.html or here: https://www.elektroda.com/rtvforum/topic3972898.html

Time to time when the sensor batteries go weak and I notice it too late, the sensor goes to the safe mode after replacing the batteries. I understand. It is OK. I have to exit the safe mode manually. But some devices are not able to recover easy way. I have flashed the firmware again via UART and restored obk configuration.

Now I have two PB-69W devices which seems to be not repairable in my opinion. I tried to re-flash it, restore RF partition, I am able to start in safe mode, I am able to check the MAC, but I am not able to connect it to WiFi regardless the MAC at basic management seems to be OK. I noticed, that MAC differs in basic Web GUI and in Web App. See the attachments.

    Screenshot of OpenBeken device information

Screenshot of the SensorChataD5 web interface for changing the MAC address.

    Questions:
How to recover RF partition other way and get/write right MAC?
How to avoid problems with weak batteries?
I have similar problem with the TuyaMCU chip.

    Thank you.

Regarding the RF/mac issue if you have the original firmware backups then reflashing those in their entirety and starting again with OpenBeken should sort that out

@divadiow "Thanks for your reply! I flashed the original Tuya backup and then the OpenBeken firmware, and it works well on both devices.

Note to others: If you restore the original Tuya backup to more devices, it contains the original MAC address, so you have to change it to avoid conflicts."
