I have the following camera from AliExpress - available for $4 via some choice/bundle deals.
Supposedly IR-cut with IR LEDs, but I'm guessing probably fake.
    It contains the TXW817-810 chipset.

I can't seem to find this one in the various posts/threads.

What hardware do I need to flash it?
I have already connected it to the app (Z-IOT-CAM) and I have a serial readout from TX/RX (115200) which I was going to post, but it contains a lot of personal info (Wi-Fi, password, etc.)

I did notice it shows an RTSP relay address with the ID of the camera in the app.
I've tried to access this using VLC, but it doesn't work.

Apparently with infrared LEDs, but I'm guessing it's a fake.

The LEDs don't look like dummies - at least check with your smartphone's camera - under camera power in the dark you'll be able to see if they glow....

@divadiow may know more about it.
Can you show a censored version of SDK information from boot log? Remove your WiFi ssid, password, etc, etc.
Helpful post? Buy me a coffee.

Hello, yes. A single thread with a how-to and all the info we have is still required for TXW81X, will get it one day hopefully.

In summary, you can replace factory firmware with OpenTXW81X and get RTSP streaming from the replacement firmware (assuming camera sensor driver is present). The replacement firmware will have a web gui where buttons and LEDs can be configured but this is largely independent of the streaming feature. There isn't a web browser view of the video stream or any built-in link between the buttons and LEDs and what the video does. There is no phone app. Flashing is via CK-Link, not UART.

There'll be more context/info regarding the Taixin journey in these threads
