Just a clarification . Today as i opened the pc ( board is always connected to ground and vcc of the usb uart ) i had working temp and hum ( Temperature:22.7C Humidity:45% )
So i believe that a complete shutdown and power disconnection also affects the tests in an no known yet way . So for any test from now on , i will uart flash , wire disconnect and reconnect and then post logs .

I still can't see, under which conditions the sensor acts like an SHT3x (meaning: reporting a valid serial ( != 00000000) and writing temp/hum values after SHT3x style measurement commands (0x24 0x16)).
I can see it sometimes in your logs, but trying to get to that point again doesn't seem to work.
Or did you find a reliable way during your tests?

Also tried to buy the sensor, but sadly its not possible (shop not present in Germany and even if I order in Greek, as soon as I enter a German address, it switches to German shop...).

So, let's stop this tests here, I will concentrate on building an SHT3/SHT4 driver to work with GXHTV4 as SHT4, so basically removing unnecessary code from the last version.
